Congratulation to Jeffrey Drymalla and Josh Gadbois. They received the Lone Star Degree at the Texas FFA Convention on July 13, 2010. The Lone Star Degree is the highest FFA Degree you can receive on the state level.

Hannah Browning, District I Vice-President from Bremond attended the Area III Leadership Camp On June 18 - 19, 2010.

Victoria Hull and Jacob White attended the District I Leadership Camp on June 22 -23, 2010. The camp is put on by the District I FFA Officers which includes Hannah Browning District I Vice-President from Bremond.

Texas FFA Convention was held in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 12th-16th.
We had 11 members of the Bremond FFA Chapter attend the convention: Hannah Browning, Jeffrey Drymalla, Joshua Gadbois, Victoria Hull, Philip Johnson, Ryan Rekieta, Travis Tubbs, Ronnie Wallace, Halee Watson, Jacob White, Johnathon White.
Jeffrey Drymalla and Joshua Gadbois received their Lone Star Farmer Degree, the rest of the members where able to be voting delegates during the week. They were able to see the beaches in Corpus Christi, attended a live concert with Kyle Park and attended the convention and elected the new Texas FFA Officers and voted on new constitutional amendments to the Texas FFA constitution

Simply put, the Bremond FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
The FFA develops members potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experience, which gives members the tools to achieve real-world success. Many former Bremond FFA members credit their current success directly to their involvement in the FFA.

Members are future chemists, veterinarians, government officials, entrepreneurs, bankers, international business leaders, teachers and premier professionals in many career fields. The FFA results in tangible rewards!

PREMIER LEADERSHIP

None of us are born leaders, but the Bremond FFA can help you become one. FFA members strengthen their public speaking ability, improve their decision-making skills, learn to manage their time, and discover how to respect themselves and gain respect from others. Premier leadership is developed throughout the FFA program - chapter meetings, camps, conventions, leadership conferences/workshops, officer training, and leadership development events.

PERSONAL GROWTH

The Bremond FFA provides its members the opportunity to grow personally through such programs as the Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), membership degrees, proficiency awards, agriscience fairs, community service, and scholarships to name a few.
Through the SAE program, many FFA members start their own businesses or work for an agricultural company throughout high school. They learn skills such as budgeting, communications, responsibility, networking, and resource management. The experience gained puts FFA members way ahead of their classmates when it comes to applying for college or being hired for the job.

And speaking of college, Bremond FFA members earned thousands of dollars in agricultural specific and non-specific scholarships from such donors as the San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, National FFA Organization, Texas FFA foundation, Robertson County Fair and more.

For students who ask their teachers, "When will I ever use this in the real world?" Career Development Events (CDE) are the answer. The events are designed to help prepare members for careers in agriculture. Classroom instruction comes alive as members demonstrate their skills in a competive setting. The FFA offers so many opportunities for competition at the chapter, district, area, state and national levels, you can hardly avoid being a winner!
