The Principal's Page
Wow! It is great to be looking forward to the start of the 2008-2009 school year! I am so excited about the possibilities that the new year holds for our students, faculty, and staff.

We’re looking forward to a Fall semester full of extracurricular activities including band, football, volleyball, and UIL academics. I encourage each student to find an area of extracurricular involvement. These activities, conducted both in and out of school, enrich the students’ school experience.

Last year, we experienced great success in athletics, band, UIL academics, and art. At the UIL meet at Bosqueville ISD, our students were awarded many medals for their academic achievements. We had several middle school students who traveled to The Woodlands for the Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE). They brought back record numbers of gold medals. Another middle school student was honored in Austin for his art work. His art piece hung in Governor Perry’s business office at the Capitol, and he was invited to Austin to meet Governor Perry. Another middle school student’s drawing of the Hearne depot was the Best of Show in the countywide Robertson County Historical Commission art contest.

Bremond ISD will welcome several new faculty members this Fall. It will be my pleasure to introduce these new teachers to our students and community in the next few weeks. When you see a new face around campus, be sure to introduce yourself and welcome our new members to the team.

We’re looking for great things to happen in the weeks and months ahead, and we welcome your interest and support! Let us know how we can help you… and how you can help us! We look forward to hearing from you.

Your principal,
Donna R. Thompson, Ed.D.
